AUTOMATIC CALL DISTRIBUTION/MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
(CENTRANET-ACD/MIS)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Many industry analysts consider Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) to be the
single most cost-saving, revenue-producing telecommunications management tool
available on the market to process incoming telephone calls. GTE's CentraNet
(Centrex) ACD is a Central Office based ACD system that:
- Automatically answers calls; on the first or on a fixed number
of rings.
- Examines preprogrammed processing tables for routing instruction
while callers on hold listen to recorded announcements or music.
CentraNet ACD determines where to route the call before the call is answered.
There's no need to have an attendant console operator answer the call, place
the caller on hold, and risk making the wrong decision of where to transfer
the call. Centranet ACD call processing:
- Optimizes the amount of time agents spend answering calls.
- Provides an intelligent, equitable distribution of calls.
CentraNet ACD Management Information System (MIS) provides:
- Real-time traffic and agent call statistics.
