  11.     I am hoping I can somehow make this seem like a psychological report 
  12.  
  13. without making it lose any of it's important details. My goal in writing this paper is 
  14.  
  15. to hopefully make people understand and agree that Satanism is not a "Devil 
  16.  
  17. Worshipping," animal mutilating, child scarifying cult organization.  The 
  18.  
  19. psychological thing comes in when people say Satanism is wrong or evil, they 
  20.  
  21. hear the word Satan and automatically assume that it must be bad.  They make 
  22.  
  23. these assumptions without even taking the time to find the facts and understand 
  24.  
  25. them.  I'll start off by saying that Satanists do not worship the devil! A Satanist 
  26.  
  27. believe that he or she as an individual rule their own destiny and are the god of 
  28.  
  29. their own lives.  Satanism is a religion based on the reality that  man is an 
  30.  
  31. animal, like all others.  They choose to separate themselves from  a society 
  32.  
  33. where natural behavior is suppressed and the strong support the weak.  The 
  34.  
  35. average Satanist disagrees with much of Christianity. In many ways Christians
  36.  
  37. are considered the enimies.  Christians say Satan is a fallen angel, not a God. 
  38.  
  39. All religions have gods and demons, some of which are forbidden by a typical
  40.  
  41. society.  Satan is one among these, originally conceived by the Hebrews, long 
  42.  
  43. before the birth of Jesus.  Most Satanists are familiar with the teachings of
  44.  
  45. Christianity, and have read the Bible or part of it.  They simply consider the 
  46.  
  47. Bible to be false and disregard it much like Christians would disregard books
  48.  
  49. which represent the foundation of another religion.
  50.  
  51.     Satanism is not considered a religion for the white race and should not be
  52.  
  53. confused with or grouped together with skinheads, The KKK, Nazi's, Neo-Nazi's,
  54.  
  55. or people who support white power.  Satanists are not teenage vandals, not 
  56.  
  57. gang murderers, not psychopathic murders, not child molesters or vicious 
  58.  
  59. rapists.  Satanists do not sacrifice young children or animals.  The ninth and 
  60.  
  61. tenth of the Eleven Satanic Rules of The Earth forbid this, in fact, animal 
  62.  
  63. sacrifices are primarily used in the Afro-Caribbean syncretistic religions such as
  64.  
  65. Voodoun, Candomble', and Santeria. Child Sacrifices are used in Television and
  66.  
  67. by journalists to improve ratings. A Satanist does not practice baby  breeding 
  68.  
  69. or child molestation.  Evidence does not support what is said to occur.  If the
  70.  
  71. number of murders said to be committed by Satanists' was accurate some 
  72.  
  73. bodies would have been found by now.

  75.     Members of the Church of Satan are involved and advanced exactly as 
  76.  
  77. their own desires, abilities,  and accomplishments dictate.  There are no set 
  78.  
  79. activities, meetings, or contacts.  A new member comes into the organization
  80.  
  81. ideally with his or her own goals and plans of achieving them.  When being 
  82.  
  83. brought to the church of Satan new members are told to not let anyone tell you 
  84.  
  85. what to believe or what to do. Advice or recommendations are one thing; orders
  86.  
  87. or commands quite another. Remember that you are a free being, not a pawn in
  88.  
  89. someone's power fantasy.  They believe the weaker elements of society should
  90.  
  91. serve the stronger elements of society or perish. Satanists support any means of 
  92.  
  93. returning to the order of Darwin's Natural Selection Process, this is inclusive of 
  94.  
  95. elimination of welfare to selective sterilization of those weaker elements.  Weak
  96.  
  97. elements are determined by performance and intelligence, not race or religion.
  98.  
  99.     So where does Satan come into all of this?  Satanists believe Satan (and
  100.  
  101. other gods) is not so much an entity as a force of nature. These gods are not all
  102.  
  103. concerned with the life of mortals.  Satan is a very powerful word that serves as 
  104.  
  105. an isolation between Satanists and society.  It is this separation that a true 
  106.  
  107. Satanist appreciates and holds dear.  the separation of a society where the 
  108.  
  109. strong and willing work for what they need and want but are forced to support
  110.  
  111. the weak through welfare and charity.  Satanists' know their opinions may not be 
  112.  
  113. politically correct, but they still obey the laws governing man on this planet and 
  114.  
  115. they expect the same protection under the laws as other minorities, races and 
  116.  
  117. religions.

  119.     There are several divisions of the believe systems of various "Satanic"
  120.  
  121. groups.  Satanism has changed so much from it's original form.  For instance a 
  122.  
  123. group that are sometimes referred to as The Dabblers adopt Satanic beliefs for a
  124.  
  125. brief period of time, usually for entertainment rather than serious purposes.  
  126.  
  127. Many modern youths fall into this category.  A Promethian Gnostic believe
  128.  
  129. that the creator of the world (Jehovah) is the evil deity.  They look at Satan as
  130.  
  131. the "bringer of life"; a beneficent god.  Then there is the Dark Gnostic who
  132.  
  133. worships the dark force of nature.  These type of groups follow a Capricious
  134.  
  135. god.  A Secondary Satanist would not consider themselves as being "Satanic"
  136.  
  137. and actually should not be defined as Satanists.  Hellfire Clubs  were a 
  138.  
  139. phenomenon of the 18th century.  The first of those was founded in the early
  140.  
  141. 1700's.  Members of a Hellfire Club were dedicated to political intrigue and 
  142.  
  143. some occasional occult activities.  Many would be suprised to know that 
  144.  
  145. Benjamin Franklin was a very active member of this club.  Those are just a few
  146.  
  147. examples of different Satanic groups.  There is one thing that all groups do
  148.  
  149. agree on and that is the Satanic Bible. The Satanic Bible is a describing book
  150.  
  151. by Anton LaVey, founder of the church of Satan.
  152.  
  153.     I hope your views of Satanism have been verified. In the end you are free

  155. to believe what you want and understand.  I would like to state that this paper is
