Scout is the narrator of the story. She is tom boy who likes to get into fights with other people. Her innocents saves her father from a mob of past KKK members a who want to kill him. She teaches the reader moral lessons about life, like accepting the less fortunate. Everything she said was honest because she had no reason to lie. She learned so much because she did not have anyone to make her think different, and had the chance to accept and reject others views on life, but in sometimes did not know any better and had the power of innocents .
Jem
Jem is a quiet person who does not get into fights like Scout. He is Scouts older brother, and has the responsibility of taking care of his sister. He understands and learns faster about things than the rest of the kids. He was important because he was one of Scouts biggest role model .Jem Represents a boys Recollection of his father. Jem thought he was a wimp.
Atticus Finch
Atticus Finch is quiet like Jem, but stands for what he believes in. Atticus is JemÆs and ScoutÆs father. He is a lawyer who is representing a black man accused of raping a white woman in the south. Atticus is very smart and up to date with the world, but has to deal with people who have beliefs that are so strong that they loose site on other views, almost like they where brain washed to hate black people. He must be strong and brave to deal with such people. Scout sees his bravery and learns from it. Atticus knows how to see life from other view points. He is a very Modest man, and does not have to boast about himself and his accomplishments
Tom Robinson
Tom is a black man who was accused of raping a white woman. He was really nice and proved to be innocent, but the jury found him guilty. The kids look at him and each learn something different about race problems.
