  5. Thank you for purchasing the A-Z of Cellular Programing, we hope it will
  6. save you time and effort.  Before using this program please take a moment
  7. to read the following:
  8.  
  9. 1.  The files on this disk are supplied in plain ASCI text, formatted to be
  10.     viewed with the included "SEE" program.  Press the "H" key for a list
  11.     of commands.
  12.  
  13. 2.  To start the A-Z of Cellular Programing simply type SEE from the DOS
  14.     prompt while in the CELLULAR directory, Ie:
  15.  
  16.                         cd\cellular (enter)
  17.                         see         (enter)
  18.  
  19.     You may also type SEE followed by the file name you wish displayed,
  20.     the TXT extension is NOT required, Ie:
  21.  
  22.                         see index   (enter)
  23.

  25. 3.  Refer to the INDEX sheet for a description of each file. You can also
  26.     view or print the file "INDEX.TXT" for easy reference to file contents.
  27.  
  28. Each file contains complete programing instructions for the phones listed
  29. in the Index, a basic understanding of cellular terminology is required to
  30. use these instructions.  Read the file "DEFINIT.TXT" for definitions on the
  31. terms used within the instructions.
  32.  
  33. Where possible every set of instructions uses the following format for ease
  34. of use:
  35.  
  36. 1.  Manufacturers name and phone model numbers.
  37. 2.  NOTES: general information such as ESN prefix, number of NAMS and
  38.     manufacturers contact phone number.
  39. 3.  NAM PROGRAMING:  Step by step information on accessing programing mode,
  40.     storing data, incrementing each step and exiting programing mode.
  41. 4.  PROGRAMING DATA: Four columns containing the Step number, number of
  42.     digits and legal range of the entry, what the display shows (where
  43.     relevant), and a description of each entry.
  44. 5.  NOTES: any notes following the programing data refer to special
  45.     instructions for certain steps.
  46. 6.  Each file ends with instructions on locking, unlocking and A/B system
  47.     selection (when known).

  49. UPDATES

  51. Updates are produced on a quarterly basis.  You will receive these updates,
  52. or a notification of there availability, depending on which package you
  53. purchased.  Please let us have any change of address.
