  7.      Tha phone bomb is an explosive device that has been used in tha past
  8. to kill or injure a specific individual.  Tha basic idea is simple: when tha
  9. person answers tha phone, tha bomb explodes.  If a small but powerful high
  10. explosive device with a squib was placed in tha phone receiver, when tha
  11. current flowed through tha receiver, tha squib would explode, detonating tha
  12. high explosive in tha person's hand.  Nasty.  All that has to be done is
  13. acquire a squib, and tape tha receiver switch down. Unscrew tha mouthpiece
  14. cover, and remove tha speaker, and connect tha squib's leads where it was.
  15. Place a high explosive putty, such as C-1 in tha receiver, and screw tha 
  16. cover on, making sure that tha squib is surrounded by tha C-1.  Hang tha 
  17. phone up, and leave tha tape in place.  When tha individual to whom tha 
  18. phone belongs attempts to answer tha phone, he will notice tha tape, and
  19. remove it.  This will allow current to flow through tha squib.  Note that
  20. tha device will not explode by merely making a phone call; tha owner of tha
  21. phone must lift up tha receiver, and remove tha tape.  It is highly probable
  22. that tha phone will be by his/her ear when tha device explodes...
