  1. White Box Plans                                 by the Jolly Roger

  3. Introduction:
  4. ------------
  5.      The White Box is simply a portable Touch-Tone keypad. For more
  6. information on Touch-Tone, see my Silver Box Plans.
  7. Materials:
  8. ---------
  9.   1 Touch-Tone Keypad
  10.   1 Miniature 1000 to 8 Ohm Transformer
  11.     (Radio Shack # 273-1380)
  12.   1 Standard 8 Ohm Speaker
  13.   2 9V Batteries
  14.   2 9V Battery Clips

  16. Procedure:
  17. ---------
  18. (1) Connect the Red Wire from the Transformer to either terminal on the
  19. Speaker.
  20. (2) Connect the White Wire from the Transformer to the other terminal on
  21. the Speaker.
  22. (3) Connect the Red Wire from one Battery Clip to the Black Wire from the other
  23. Battery Clip.
  24. (4) Connect the Red Wire from the second Battery Clip to the Green Wire
  25. from the Keypad.
  26. (5) Connect the Blue Wire from the Keypad to the Orange/Black Wire from
  27. the Keypad.
  28. (6) Connect the Black Wire from the first Battery Clip to the two above
  29. wires (Blue and Black/Orange).
  30. (7) Connect the Black Wire from the Keypad to the Blue Wire from the
  31. Transformer.
  32. (8) Connect the Red/Green Wire from the Keypad to the Green Wire from the
  33. Transformer.
  34. (9) Make sure the Black Wire from the Transformer and the remaining wires
  35. from the Keypad are free.
  36. (10) Hook up the Batteries.

  40. (1) Put it all in a case.
  41. (2) Add a Silver Box to it.

  45. Just use it like a normal keypad, except put the speaker next to the
  46. receiver of the phone you're using.
