  8. When an infected program is run, it will search the whole directory
  9. structure of the disk and infect almost every COM-program on disk.
  10. This takes time, so Omega is easy to find because programs take much
  11. more time to load.

  13. Omega won't infect a file if it is marked read-only.

  15. Omega will activate on every Friday the 13th. It then displays an
  16. omega-character ('Ω') and overwrites the beginning of the first two hard
  17. disks in the system, destroying the partition records.
