- Sphere Hacker
- By The Ozone
- LimeLight Technologies
-
- --Key
- '+' : Added.
- '-' : Removed.
- '#' : Changed.
- '!' : To be added next release.
-
-
- --Sphere Hacker 1.00
- + Initial working copy. It works and works damned good.
-
- --Sphere Hacker 1.10
- + Added a list of last few dialed codes and their status.
- + Logs time of each code in LogFile.
- + Logs time/date of opening/closing of LogFile.
- + Added support for a different ScrnFile. To use, draw ANSI in TheDraw
- and save as BINary type to SPHERE.001.
- # Got the Number-Of-Tries Counter working.
- # The date/time of the code attempt is stored in SPHERE.COD now.
- # Sphere Hacker now pays attention to FoundSound in the Sphere.Cfg
- ! CodeFile analyzer.
- ! Support for 950-0070 exchange.
- ! FoundLog working.
- ! Number of dials before exiting.
- ! Time to exit.
- ! Amount of time delaying between code attempts.
-
- --Sphere Hacker 1.20
- + CodeList.Exe - Codefile anylyzer - primative.
- + Amount of time between code attempts is now shown.
- + Shows total number of code attempts on the screen.
- + New feature - Kinda handy, it now displays an average number of dials per
- hour.
- # ToneNumber changed to ToneList. This now works similar to the
- DivertorList, it'll choose random numbers from the list to dial
- instead of the same one over and over <easy to spot hackers, a list
- makes it a bit more difficult and remember, the more the better! *ALL*
- must return a DIALTONE RESULT!> This will probably be the most dramatic
- change in this version. This list must also be compiled, use
- TONECOMP.EXE to do so.
- # Changed MinDelay/MaxDelay to reflect SECONDS instead of milliseconds,
- and am using a new method to delay this, this now works MUCH better and
- is WAY more accurate.
-
- --Sphere Hacker 1.30
- + New Keys :
- Escape ■ Quit
- S ■ Turn Speaker Off
- Formerly, in Version 1.20, any key pressed would exit. Now at any time
- you can press one of these keys and it'll take it's appropriate action,
- AFTER the current hack attempt.
- + A new Exchange! - 950-0687. Modify the "Exchange" in SPHERE.CFG to 3 and
- it will now hack on the 0687. Also, I think I fixed a bug from the last
- release where it wouldn't attempt to make the code file. Also, if you
- had used the previous version, rename your SPHERE.COD file to SPHERE.800.
- This and all future releases will use SPHERE.+the last three digits of
- the exchange's suffix, thus SPHERE.800 is the codefile for 950-0800, and
- SPHERE.687 for 950-0687.
-
- --Sphere Hacker 1.40
- **** Note : The source code to Sphere Hacker was lost in an embarkment during
- a Netrun. Sorry, my CyberDeck couldn't hold more so my backup
- procedures attempted to stabalize me and in turn randomly deleted
- valuable data from my cyberdeck, so I was left with Sphere Hacker
- 1.10 Source, which was never even released for crying out loud,
- some things in previous versions will not be in here, simply
- because the demand for an bug fix is more imposing compared to
- previous features. I apologize and will have a lot back in by
- 1.50. The things that were important which were re-added include
- ToneList and MiDelay/MaxDelay.
-
- - The 950-0687 exchange was lost. Sorry, no one I knew was getting codes
- from it and I never had anyone inform me of how well it worked/didn't
- work. Prospect House found some, but never got them to work. Anyone with
- ANY information on this exchange, PLEASE contact me on my board.
-
- + Added was support for the 950-0070 exchange. Kudos going to The Cool One
- for information on the template of this exchange. Modify the Exchange
- value in Sphere.Cfg.
-
- - CodeList.Exe has reverted to it's primitive age. So, to use it type
- "codelist codefile.ext" to list your codes.
-
- # There are No keys, press ANY key and it'll stop after the
- current dial.
-
- + PBX Support! - That's Right, finally frigging PBX Support, a lot of my
- euro users were bitching about spending time d/ling it and it not doing
- them any good, problem solved. Check values in PBXMode and PBXNumber in
- Sphere.Cfg and modify to your liking.
-
- + User configurable Pulse/Tone Dialing. Sorry, I assumed most modems used
- Tone dialing by default, I found out I was wrong..:( Thanks go to
- Prospect House, The Cool One, Professor, and someone else reported the
- same problem, neither Vengeance NOR I experienced ANY trouble regarding
- this. This isn't QUITE tested, as I mean only I have tested it, but
- should work. Modify your DialString setting in your SPHERE.CFG file to
- include a 'T' for tone, 'P' for pulse. Uncomment the DialString line if
- necessary.
-
- # Better error checking concerning file i/o, if it doesn't find a file or
- what not it'll tell you.
-
- -- Sphere Hacker 1.41δ
-
- # Black Ice noticed a BIG bug where it wasn't corectly assigning com ports,
- if you tried using a different com port other than 1, it would use
- Com 0 <I could shoot myself in the foot sometimes>.
- # Ending Time was added as the second parameter. So to exit at 15:13
- <3:13pm> use "sphere sphere.cfg 3:13pm". Kudos to The Cool One for this
- idea.
