  21.  Scanners...aren't much to them..The idea is to select a range of numbers to
  22.  call and look for lines that answer with carriers..Nothing fancy..In later
  23.  versions I will add 800 number support as they sometimes come in handy when
  24.  looking for unix mainframes,or things to mess around with..

  26.  Configure the damned thing first.

  28.  The only supported baud rates are 300 and 1200...When 2400 dial ups are more
  29.  common,I'll add 2400 baud support..If people complain I'll add it sooner..

  31.  Since each scan run is totally different from the last,I didn't include a
  32.  configuration file loader..if you want it,let me know..

  35.  i.e. if you set 'EXIT TO DOS: Y' and you have chosen TIMED SCANNING,with a
  36.       time to stop scanning,at that time,it'll drop to dos,and you are back
  37.       in control..previous versions of this beta series did a warm boot but
  38.       I changed my mind about that...< ctrl-alt-del >..wasn't a good idea.
  39.       Also,if you specify say,a starting number of 0000 and ending number of
  40.       1000 when it reaches XXX-1000 it will drop to dos and you are back into
  41.       a batch file.

  44.  Please refer to the main help file for configuring the modem..it is critical
  45.  that your modem support dtr control and you set the switches exactly as I
  46.  specify..I hang up the bloody modem by dropping dtr,so you will understand
  47.  why it has to be that way..

  51.  it's widespread use among pirates and phreaks..Please feel free to make
  52.  constructive comments known to me,as I can only think of so many things,and
  53.  I am sure there is room for improvement..

  55.  BTW,I do direct ram writes to screen display for speed..once it is in hacking
  56.  /scanning mode it will not overwrite your foreground areas..
