  233. ISDN or POT phone line to dial-up into your system anytime of the day or night.
  234. Provides 24-hour on call "RESET" emergency pager number for when you need to reset

  255. SNNI. There are two methods of payment: check and credit card. Every month a
  256. check must be mailed no later than five days after your billing date for your
  257. account to be kept active and to avoid any resetup fees. A credit card is 
  258. charged every month on the date that the account was established.

  342. (collectively referred to as Parties).  Whereas Southwest Nineteen Networks has
  343. agreed to provide computing and networking services to the Subscriber; whereas
  344. Subscriber desires to become affiliated with the Southwest Nineteen Networks by
  345. connecting to Southwest Nineteen Networks' network Services.
  346.  
  347. Now therefore, the Parties agrees as follows:
  348.  
  349.  
  350.  
  351. 1.  Southwest Nineteen networks agrees to allow Subscriber to connect to 
  352. computing facilities at Subscribers site to Southwest Nineteen Networks' network 
  353. and transmit data over the Network in accordance with the terms of these
  354. Subscription Rules and the Southwest Nineteen Networks Customer Service 
  355. Agreement form which is attached hereto as Form A and made a part hereof.
  356.  
  357. 2.  Subscriber shall pay chosen payment as stated in Form A  for connection 
  358. and use of Southwest Nineteen Networks' network.  Failure to comply with the 
  359. chosen payment schedule may result in cancellation of network services.
  360.  
  361. 3.  Southwest Nineteen Networks reserves the right to change the above terms
  362. and conditions by notifying the Subscriber in writing or in E-mail at least 30
  363. days in advance.
  364.  
  365. 4.  Neither Party shall have the right to use the other's name, trademark or 
  366. tradename, or to refer to this Agreement in connection with any product, 
  367. promotion without prior consent of the other Party.
  368.  
  369. 5.  No information exchanged between the Parties shall be considered 
  370. confidential unless it is the subject of a separate written confidential
  371. non-disclosure agreement.
  372.  
  373. 6.  This Agreement will be effective upon signature by both Parties and may be
  374. terminated by either Party immediately upon written notice to the other Party 
  375. provided; however, that the provision of Paragraphs 7 and 8 shall survive any
  376. termination.  Subscriber is thus responsible for any outstanding service fees.
  377.  
  378. 7.  Southwest Nineteen Networks, any and all other participating Southwest
  379. Nineteen Networks network contractors and grantees, and officers and employees
  380. are not authorized to make any affirmation or fact of warranty with respect to
  381. the software or hardware supplied under this Agreement and Southwest Nineteen 
  382. Networks HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, 
  383. INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A
  384. PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND INFRINGEMENT OR PROPRIETARY INTEREST AND SHALL NOT BE
  385. LIABLE TO SUBSCRIBER FOR DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL USE OR
  386. INABILITY TO USE THE SOUTHWEST NINETEEN NETWORKS' HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE.
  387.  
  388. 8.  The Subscriber shall indemnify and hold Southwest Nineteen Networks, their
  389. officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any and, all damages,
  390. liabilities, losses, cost and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees,
  391. arising out of or related to Subscribers use of the Networks or Subscriber's
  392. breach of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  394. 9.  This agreement and the legal relationships between the Parties shall be
  395. governed by the laws of the State of California.
  396.  
  397. 10.  This Agreement, including Form A, is the sole Agreement between the 
  398. Parties respecting the subject matter hereof.  Subscriber has read this 
  399. Agreement and fully understands the terms thereof.  This Agreement
  400. supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
  401. This Agreement may only be changed or terminated in writing, signed by both
  402. Parties.

  404. 11.  The Subscriber shall read, fully understand and abide by Form A

  525.     Welcome ExoCom User to Southwest Nineteen Networks

  527. As a new user you might require information on how exactly to use your 
  528. account.  You can use either a Unix shell or a SLIP/PPP account to connect to 
  529. the Internet.  For Unix, a good Unix book or class is best to understand all the 
  530. features of Unix.  To login to your Unix Shell account simply at "login:" type your 
  531. login name followed by your password.  You will be given you Unix Shell 
  532. prompt.  If you are want a Menu system, it can be accessed by typing "menu".  
  533. Although this contains many of the common features is doesn't provide all the 
  534. commands you can use in Unix.  For a brief listing of Unix commands you may 
  535. consult the ExoCom Internet User Guide.

  539. If you are a Windows 3.11 user you can download ExoCom easy to use install 
  540. diskette.  This is located in FTP.EXO.COM.  You can "FTP" (transfer) the file to 
  541. your directory to and send it your computer using the "Send Z-Modem" 
  542. command (sz).  These would be the exact commands.
  543.  
  544. Call your local dial-up number with a terminal emulation program using 8N1 that 
  545. supports Z-Modem Transfer
  546.

  549. At the "login:" prompt type your username (the login name).

  593. (These are listed in the Account Summery Information either USPS Mail to you, 
  594. Faxed to you or E-mailed to you.) at the COM port of your modem and the Baud 
  595. Rate.

  599. Select and type the correct information for your account and computer settings.  
  600. With the mouse press "OK".  A program group in Windows will be created 
  601. called ExoCom.  There will be a number of programs such as TCP Manager, 
  602. News, Mail, FTP and Netscape.  Clicking on TCP Manager will dial our Network 
  603. with the settings you selected.  Once connected and PPP is enable you can 
  604. Click on Mail, News, FTP or Netscape to either Read Mail or News, Send a file 
  605. in FTP or view the World Wide Web with Netscape.  The Programs are pretty 
  606. self explanatory so great detail will not be given in this text to their individual 
  607. use.  For more information on each program contact the author or E-Mail

  612. For Windows 95, use the built-In TCP/IP features of Windows 95.  We do not 
  613. have an install disk for Windows 95, but we have a file on how to setup 
  614. Windows 95 on your computer.  For information on downloading that file please 
  615. download the Windows PPP config file information located on FTP.EXO.COM 
  616. the pub/win95ppp.txt file or contact ExoCom Technical Support at 
  617. 714-518-2040 if you would like the Information faxed or mailed to you.

  621. Macintosh Users will need to have MacTCP (included with System 7.5) and 
  622. MacPPP as well as the client software for accessing the Internet.  If you do not 
  623. have that software it can be purchased at a major Computer Retail Store.  The 
  624. book is called Internet Starter Kit.  It contains one diskette that Includes 
  625. MacTCP, MacPPP. MacWeb and other various programs needed for Internet 
  626. access.  Setup information for Macintosh for use with Southwest Nineteen 
  627. Networks can be supplied.  The software and book can be sent to you if you 
  628. require.  Please contact Southwest Nineteen Networks if you would like the 
  629. book and diskettes.

  704. your end also. For SLIP or CSLIP a "S" or "C" must be put in 
  705. front or the login name.  Once the password is typed the IP 
  706. information is sent.  Your SLIP or CSLIP software must grab 
  707. this information each time for the correct IP for that session.
