  8. Internet services, including Telnet, FTP and IRC, are available!

  10. o   Telnet provides the ability to directly access other computers
  11.     worldwide that are connected to the Internet, the world's largest 
  12.     computer network.

  14. o   FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to access large archives
  15.     and databases to obtain computer programs, reference materials, and
  16.     other valuable information.

  18. o   IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a real-time chat program that allows
  19.     computer users around the world to talk with each other live, in a
  20.     variety of languages.

  22. Now that Internet services are available, you may use Telnet to reach
  23. your Vnet Internet Access account from many points on the Internet.
  24. This feature is available to all Vnet Internet Access users, regardless
  25. of account type.

  27. While our Standard account (News & Mail) remains $15/month, Deluxe
  28. accounts (with Internet access) are $25/month (an additional $10 over
  29. the Standard account price).

  31. Account applications are being accepted now by mail for Internet
  32. services accounts.  Instant accounts are set up as News/Mail accounts
  33. until the Instant Account software is changed; if you wish to upgrade to
  34. Internet Services, send mail to "help" indicating your preference when
  35. you first log in.
