| How to Unprotect Pete Rose Pennant Fever in One Easy Lesson !!! |
----------------------------| By: Master Joe |----------------------------
Pete Rose Pennant Fever is a terrific game, but the annoying crap about having
to choose a seat before the game starts is pure unadulterated BULLSHIT!!! This
type of protection is a waste of time for legitimate owners of the program, and
it actually detracts it. It also amazed me how simple it was to unprotect this
game, which doesn't say much for the programming talents of the idiot who wrote
the copy protection into it !!!
I wonder how much money good old Pete Rose would have bet on how long it would
take somebody to crack this game!
1. Make a backup copy of the disk containing the file: BASEBALL.EXE
2. Use the backup copy and rename BASEBALL.EXE to BASEBALL.ZAP
3. DEBUG BASEBALL.ZAP (IMPORTANT! Type the following instructions EXACTLY!)
4. E 0841 <ENTER>
5. 95 <ENTER>
6. W
7. Q
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RENAME BASEBALL.ZAP to BASEBALL.EXE and run it without the stupid startup!
It's that simple. There is just one louzy charactor that needs to be changed.
