  1. Unprotect Ultima V
  2.  
  3. [1] Make a copy of your Ultima V Program Disk (Disk 1) using 
  4.     the DOS COPY *.* command.
  5.  
  6. [2] Copy the files ULT-V.BAT and PAT.EXE from this package to
  7.     the copy of the Ultima V Program Disk you made in Step 1.
  8.  
  9. [3] Now, using the Ultima V copy containing the the files 
  10.     ULT-V.BAT and PAT.EXE, type ULT-V at the DOS prompt.
  11.  
  12. [4] A patch will be made to the file ULTIMA.EXE, after which
  13.     you will be able to copy and run the program normally.
  14.  
  15. [5] When you are finished, you may delete the files ULT-V.BAT
  16.     and PAT.EXE from your Ultima V disk.
