==[INTRODUCTION]=============================================================
This file informs you about LEGENd DESIGN, from the very beginning,
foundation, members and projects, ways to get in touch, up to last min-
ute notes.
Well, LEGEND DESIGN is a german group dedicated to making demos, and
intros, actually all these things, you hopefully appreciate. Further we
do not deny to take on commercial projects, just the way most other
demogroups do.
Currently the group consists of twelve people ageing from 19 to 23 years.
Our occupation, besides the notorious computer works, vary from going
to school, to studying.
Anyway, this is not a matter to be discussed here, so we will concen-
trate on more important matters and topics concerning the group itself.

==[FOUNDATION, STORY SO FAR]=================================================
Founded in the summer '92 by Pit Bull, Centauri and Alpha, who left
the group some time later, we emerged from a former PC demogroup called
THE CULT. Shortly after this, the first release was done. Nothing spec-
tacular, nevertheless a step in the right direction. The CHROMA DYNAMIX
has been a dentro for the next production. This dentro featured some
nice texts, shadebobs and soundblaster support. Actually this were our
first tries doing some VGA and Soundblaster programming.
A friend of Pit Bull, Steam, joined some time after, dragging Stain-
less Steel and Endless Creation with him.
Being reinforced with these members, we were able to start the next
production.
The DIGITAL MATRIX megademo has been released in late 93. The release
had to be delayed for quite some time due to Pit Bull's and Centauri's
military services by that time. This demo, nevertheless, became quite
popular. It featured some more advanced technics, like landscape scrol-
lers, nice graphics and fine music for soundblaster owners.
After the Party III in Denmark, Avatar and Nomad joined the group.
Following the megademo was a BBSTRO for our board, the Golden Image.
Not being a real big thing, it nevertheless contained some nice shaded
3d objects. This project was not supposed to earn prices, it served its
purpose well, though.
The next big project, a GUS replay routine has been published through a
modplayer called TRIPLE-S. The modplayer presented some features really
new by that time. It contained shuffle and introduction play of several
modfiles as well as a multifunctional file door.
A nice friendship resulted in one more member, called Sir Ozzy.
The current production, WARP, took hold of nearly all members, being
the most complex production up to date.
The WARP megademo features gouraud and phong shading, a vector world,
texture mapping , hicolor plasma and Gravis Ultrasound support. This
project has been a big step forward, compared to the releases in the
past.
Shortly after releasing the WARP demonstration, Necros and Oman, former
Psychic Monks, joined Legend Design as musician, respectively grafics
artist.
In december, 1994 we released a bugfix for the WARP demonstration. It
proved to be a bit incooperating on some systems. Especially the new
configuration program caused some trouble on some systems.
