  49. | RUNNING THE DEMO: |

  52.  This demo consist from 2 parts, 1st part runs in any 8bpp mode and 2nd
  53.  part run in any hi/truecolor mode (exept 15bpp). To see 2nd part of demo
  54.  you must have VESA 2.0+ bios interface in bios of your graphics card or 
  55.  installed by some software tsr (like UniVBE). Basicaly it may work with
  56.  VESA 1.2 (not tested though) but it will significantly slow down performance.
  57.  By default demo will run in standart vga 320x200x8bpp mode for 1st part
  58.  and 320x400x24bpp for 2nd part, it will also try to autodetect your 
  59.  sound card.
  60.  If you have powerfull enough computer you may increase demo resolution.
  61.  In general, higher resolution will slow down frame rate and will need
  62.  more memory, for example if you select 1280x1024 resolution for the 1st
  63.  part, even 15M of free RAM won't be enough.
  64.  Wierd things to note: some special resolutions lock computer when you
  65.  also activate MIDAS sound card setup at the beginning of the demo...
  66.  and when running first part in high resolutions 2nd part may hang
  67.  when not enough memory (we`ll try to fix it).
  68.  Also don`t choose too high resolution and color depth in true color mode
  69.  it may lead to negative frame rate :)
  70.  Since engine internally works on 24bpp this color depth is preferable, 
  71.  320x200x24bpp or 320x400x24bpp is best suited video modes for the 2nd part.
  72.  Naturally, if u have Dual PPro mmx with ET600090 u may try to run it at
  73.  1024x768x32bpp :)
  74.  If don`t have any vesa interface, run with NOVBE option to see at least
  75.  the 1st part of demo.

  77.  Command line parameters:
  78.    PRAY SETUP or PRAY CONFIG - Configure video modes and sound card.
  79.    PRAY VID - Configure video modes.
  80.    PRAY AUD - Conigure sound card.
  81.    PRAY NOVBE - Disable vesa support,(You`ll not see 2nd part of demo).

  89.  386-SX - If you own such a machine, you are not a demomaker, you are an
  90.   antique collector or you work for a museum...
  91.  486-DX/33 - Never seen that one before, I think my grandfather had one...
  92.  486-DX2/66 - That I've seen and owned too (CyberEagle), but I don't think 
  93.   you'll like the demo on such a slow computer. The framerate will probably be
  94.   1 fps.
  95.  486-DX4/100 - It's an OK machine, but the demo will still be slow because
  96.   of the usage of special optimization techniques of Intel Pentium. 
  97.  Pentium/100 - Getting close, this is not bad. The demo should be almost smooth.
  98.  Pentium/133 - This is Adepts machine. The demo should work ok.
  99.  Pentium/166 - This is my machine. The demo should work good on it.
  100.  Pentium Quad Pro with MMX - Oh, see? Now you got it! This is the machine
  101.   our demo is designed for :)

  103. FPU:

  105.  You MUST have FPU. No FPU - no demo.

  107. Sound Card:

  109.  Any sound card supported by MIDAS SoundSystem / Sahara Surfers.
  110.  For no sound run demo with AUD command line and choose NoSound from
  111.  midas setup.

  113. Graphics Card:
  114. --------------
  115.  To fully enjoy this demo you should have PCI graphics card that supports
  116.  hardware linear frame buffer.
  117.  In case you don`t have VESA 2.0 support in your graphics card bios you
  118.  should run UniVbe 5.2 or higher by SciTech software that will install
  119.  support for VESA 2.0 bios intreface.
  120.  You can find the latest UniVbe version at 'www.scitechsoft.com'.
  121.  This demo was designed on/for ATI Mach64 with 2Mb Mem. This is the ideal card.
  122.  Anyway, the faster your graphics card is, the higher the frame rate will be.

  124. Memory:

  126.  8Mb of RAM should be enough to run this demo.
  127.  Clear boot (HIMEM.SYS only) is advisable.
  128.    (don`t forget to load sound card drivers if your card need them)
  129.  Any memory manager EMM386/QEMM386 and alike will low down perfomance.
  130.  This demo doesn`t need many conventional memory so most of you probably
  131.  will not experience any problems with it.
