  5. ((MODERATORS' NOTE: Mike Batchelor has set up a mailserve for
  6. back issues of CuD. Bitnet readers without ftp access will find this
  7. especially helpful. Below are the instructions)).

  9. CuD back issues are in aotd/vol?.zoo.  An index is also
  10. available, which I'll try to keep updated as new back issues are
  11. added.

  13. You may request them from mailserv@batpad.lgb.ca.us as follows:

  15. In the body of your message, place the command
  16.  
  17. GET aotd/vol?,zoo UUE  <or XXE>
  18. GET aotd/index.zoo UUE  <or XXE>
  19.  
  20. Use the volume number in place of the question mark.  Wildcards are
  21. not supported, but you may request more than one file in the same
  22. message, one request per line.  Files may be requested either UUencoded
  23. or XXencoded.  The default is to UUencode.
  24.  
  25. The mailserv will soon implement a QUIT command.  Until then, just
  26. ignore the spurious "Command not supported" message when it eats
  27. your sig.  This is harmless, and does not affect the status of your
  28. request.

  30. You are welcome to request the general INDEX file with the INDEX
  31. command, and retrieve any files that are available from the mailserv.
  32. You may also call The Batchelor Pad PCBoard and download any files on
  33. your first call, no muss, no fuss.  The telephone number is
  34. 310-494-8084, 8N1, 2400-14,400 bps V.32bis/V.42bis.
