  2. As with most PC programs, Windows 3.1 has a special sequence 
  3. of keystrokes that reveal the product's authors.  In this case, 
  4. you also get an animation as well.  Here are the steps: 
  5.  
  6. 1.      Hold down Ctrl and Shift for the duration of this process. 
  7.  
  8. 2.      With Program Manager active, do a HELP, ABOUT. 
  9.  
  10. 3.      Double-click on one of the panes in the window in the upper left 
  11.         Click OK. 
  12.  
  13. 4.      Do another HELP, ABOUT in Program Manager. 
  14.         Double-click the same window pane. 
  15.         * A flag will fly 
  16.         Click OK. 
  17.  
  18. 5.      Do a third HELP, ABOUT in Program Manager 
  19.         Double-click the same window pane. 
  20.  
  21. This time you will see a cartoon character pointing to 
  22. a scrolling list of the Windows 3.1 development team. 
  23. Do it a few times using different panes, and eventually you'll 
  24. see all 4 cartoon characters.

  26. (The characters are: Bill Gates, Microsoft CEO (Guy w/glasses), 
  27. Steve Ballmer, Microsoft Exec VP (Bald Guy), Brad Silverberg, Vice 
  28. President - Microsoft Personal Systems/DOS & Windows (Bearded Guy) 
  29. and T-bear (Teddy Bear), Windows 3.1 team mascot).
