  9. A challenging position,
  10. Against the ball and the sun.
  11. As you jog out,
  12. It feels like an eternity,
  13. With a crowd watching you.
  14. When out there you stand,
  15. Waiting.
  16. Maybe a ball will be hit,
  17. And it will come your way.
  18. Maybe a pop up,
  19. Or a routine ground ball.
  20. It could be the catch you have longed for.
  21. A ball hit a foot or so over the fence,
  22. But not far enough that you canÆt catch it.
  23. And as you waken from your daydream,
  24. You realize your team is jogging into the dugout.
