You've heard of traveling back to the future? Well, now you can also fly forward to the past! Graphic Calendar 64 lets you access accurate calendars from the year 1 A.D. to the 22nd century, using either a Commodore 1351 mouse or the cursor keys. As the time flies by, you can post daily memos to be read later.
Load and run Graphic Calendar with Menu 64. A green arrow pointer and a bit-mapped image of a monthly calendar will appear on the screen.
To use the 1351 mouse (port 1), run the Calendar Mouse program. Once that program is activated, it not only makes the mouse active, but it also loads and runs Graphic Calendar. If you have a 1351, always be sure to run Calendar Mouse instead of Graphic Calendar.
Select both dates and program functions with the left mouse button. To change the month, place the pointer on the one you want in the top half of the calendar and press the left mouse button.
The narrow icons beneath the months are the year controls. The outermost arrows change the year by ten, the innermost by one. The arrows on the left decrease the year, those on the right increase it. The center button exits the program.
Graphic Calendar lets you record memos for any day of any year. Select the number of the day you want and you'll go to a screen editor. If a memo for that day already exists, it will appear on the screen, with the cursor at the end of the memo. Your input is limited to one full screen; the top line will be erased if you scroll past the bottom. After typing the memo, press the back-arrow key to exit. The memo will be saved to the current storage device.
