About the RUN Special Issue Disk
Welcome to the first RUN Special Issue Disk! We have taken every program
in the magazine (except MAGIC and Commodore Clinic) and placed it on the disk.
And, as a special bonus, we have added an additional three programs that were
far too large to put in the magazine, but are of exceptional value and we knew
you would like them. The three bonus programs are:
A Show Of Hands
This C64 program allows you to learn sign language, using high resolution
drawings of the various hand signals. A great program!
The Sprite Librarian
This is a C128 mode program that allows you to enter and store hundreds of
sprites on disk, in a manner that makes it easy to access them for use in your
own programs. If you use sprites in your programs this is something you have
been needing.
The Sprite Database
The Sprite Database is a C64 sprite editor and storage system that allows
the C64 sprite designer to create and store up to 1000 different sprites on a
single 1541 disk. It comes with a powerful sprite editor that makes sprite
creation a breeze.
All of the bonus programs have documentation files on the disk. You can
view the documentation for any of them (as well as the sequential files that
contain the source code for the Interrupt Programming article) by selecting
the documentation option on the menu. The documentation program will print
the information to either the screen or printer depending on which you select.
