Sorting through the wealth of new products that come through the door daily has made Donna Meyerson the "multimedia guru". Her out-of-box experience with each new product contributes to the Reviews section, and Donna tells it like it is.
Previously associate editor of Electronic Entertainment and then assistant editor for Buzz, Donna specialized in multimedia and kid's titles. She was also responsible for new product announcements, and acted as the liaison to the vendor community. The expansion of computer technology into the consumer market is something she's anticipated for years, and she feels very excited about the opportunity to introduce the benefits of these products to Computer Life readers. "Personal computing is hot and consumer products are hitting the market in droves," notes Donna. "It's our job to sort through the piles of products and pick out the winners, the ones that can really make computing fun."
Donna enjoys spending time on-line with an ever-growing group of cyber-friends. She's amazed at how many people are becoming involved. "Being on-line connects people in a way never possible before," Donna says. "Accessing vast amounts of information is invaluable, but the fun part is the friends you develop across the country. It's amazing -- getting advice on the best place to vacation in Hawaii, sharing your favorite recipe, or tracking your family heritage in Ireland."
