  4. Installing Mosaic for ZDNet

  6.  1  Start Windows and insert Disk 1 or the CD-ROM into the appropriate drive.
  7.  2  Click the Start button, and then click Run.
  8.  3  In the Open box, type the path to the setup program (for example, a:\setup 
  9.     for a floppy diskette, or d:\setup for a CD-ROM) and click OK.
  10.  4  Follow the instructions on the screen to configure Mosaic for ZDNet and 
  11.     set up a CompuServe account.

  15. Possible installation problems

  17. If you have problems running the setup program, restart Windows and try again.
  18.  
  19. You will not be able to install Mosaic for ZDNet over a network. You will have 
  20. to perform individual installations at each work station.

  24. Registration Problems
  25. =====================
  26. If you are installing and registering during peak hours, you may see the message
  27. "Error #451: Mail Server is Busy." Click OK, and retry. It make take several times
  28. before you can register, depending on the volume of traffic.

  30. Windows NT
  31. If you are installing on Windows NT and select the LAN transport option, your
  32. software will not be registered, but it will function properly. Should you need
  33. to contact Technical Support at some time, you can register your software then.

  35. You will also not be able to create an Instant Internet Access account with 
  36. CompuServe if you are installing on Windows NT using the LAN transport. In order
  37. to create an Instant Access account, you will need to install and select the PPP
  38. transport option.

  44. If you are upgrading from Mosaic In A Box or a Mosaic Direct product, you will be able to 
  45. create an e-mail account. You will be asked to request an e-mail username during the 
  46. setup procedure. The online help has more information on choosing an e-mail username.
