SimCity 2000, while ostensibly a game about urban planning, is really about the heady thrill of creation and its attendant responsibilities. Starting with a blank slate of open landscape, the name of the game is to establish a human settlement according to your vision. I hadn't foreseen the traffic problems that would arise from insufficient roads, and by the time I did something about it the city coffers were devoted heavily to other projects: namely, a hospital and a new school. |CR||CR||B:1|2/4^As my advisors grumbled about their needs I was left on the brink of fiscal ruin and public disgrace. Encouraged, I tried my hand at leading Paris into a new era (the game is very wordly). It was a new era, all right, not unlike the period just before the revolution. Oh well, let 'em eat cake; it's just a game after all.
