This program teaches basic Chinese calligraphy, presenting 150 of the most frequently used characters in traditional and simplified forms. Students practice drawing characters in a box, learn Mandarin and Cantonese transliterations, and memorize definitions. Requires a 286 PC or faster, VGA, and a mouse. This program must be copied to your hard drive and then run from DOS. The run/install button will copy 976K to your C: drive in a directory called "Chinese" unless you specify another directory. To run the program, exit Windows and type: C:\ then type: "cd chinese." After that, type: "chinese," hit return, and follow the directions. Note: If you want to print out these instructions, they're in a file called "china.txt" in the "txt" directory.
