Worship takes place at sunrise, noon, afternoon, evening and sunset. Followers are usually summoned to prayer by the muezzin (priest) in the following way. It consists of seven statements:
God is most great
I testify there is no god but God
I testify that Mohammed is the messenger of God
Come to prayer
Come to salvation
God is most great.
The first statement is repeated four times, the others twice and the last, once. At the mosque they must perform ritual ablutions such as the washing of hands and feet. Then they must perform the thirteen requirements, which are the six positions of prayer, the six recitations and the requirement to do them in the right order.
