  1.    An important feature of this program is the ease with which it can be
  2.    configured to suit any user.  You can customise the program thus:

  4.   1   Sound
  5.       Press <1> to choose from the following:  ALL (all available sound),
  6.       FX ONLY (sound effects/speech only), MUSIC ONLY (music only), and
  7.       NONE (no sound at all).

  9.    2   Scan speed
  10.        Sets how long it takes the spider to catch the butterfly in 'Spider'
  11.        as detailed below:

  19.        Determines how many questions the program asks during each game.

  22.        This sets the number of incorrect attempts before the user
  23.        is given help.

  25.    5   Lowest number
  26.        The computer generates random questions.  This option allows you to
  27.        set the lowest number to be used, in Train and Spider, the lowest sum.

  29.    6   Highest number
  30.        The computer generates random questions.  This option allows you to
  31.        set the highest number to be used.
  32.  
  33.    7   Addition bond
  34.        Determines which addition bond is used.
  35.  
  36.    8   Equals
  37.        Determines which symbol is used.
  38.  
  39.    9   Record results
  40.        Determines whether or not the student's results will be recorded.

  42.    A   Hide this section
  43.        Determines whether or not the access instructions on the Control
  44.        Screen are displayed.

  46.    P   Printer
  47.        Select your printer.  If it is not listed, set it up to emulate one
  48.        which is.

  51.        Details of the last ten sets of recorded results can be viewed and
  52.        printed from here.  For further help on 'View results', press <V> at
  53.        the Parent/Teacher Section, then press <F1>.
