  1.   An important and comprehensive feature of this program is the ease
  2.   with which it can be configured to suit any user.
  3.   You can customise the program thus:
  4.  
  5.   1   Sound
  6.       Press <1> to choose from the following:  ALL (all available sound),
  7.       FX ONLY (sound effects/speech only), MUSIC ONLY (music only), and
  8.       NONE (no sound at all).
  9.  
  10.   2   Difficulty
  11.       Sets question difficulty.  There are three levels: LOW, MEDIUM and
  12.       HIGH.  Repeatedly pressing <2> cycles through them.
  13.  
  14.   3   Clue penalty
  15.       Enter a number between 0 and 50.  This determines the penalty (in
  16.       seconds) to be added each time the student asks for a clue.
  17.  
  18.   4   Sections
  19.       Chooses questions the program is to ask.  The options are:
  20.       FLASH (memory), COMPLETE (word completion), CRACK-IT (code breaking),
  21.       HANG-UP (hangman) and JUMBLES (anagrams), or ALL.

  23.   5   Record results
  24.       Determines whether or not the student's results will be recorded.

  26.   6   Hide this section
  27.       Determines whether or not the access instructions on the Control
  28.       Screen are displayed.

  30.   7   Current word list
  31.       The main program uses words contained in the list displayed here.
  32.       To use another list, press <7> then select from the choices given.

  34.   8   Magic word list
  35.       The 'magic' word used in the main program is selected from the list
  36.       displayed here.  To use another list, press <8> then select from the
  37.       choices given.

  39.   9   Edit/create word lists
  40.       Changes all or any words in the current word list.  Words are
  41.       automatically rearranged in alphabetical order when you have finished.

  43.   0   Edit/create magic word lists
  44.       Changes all or any of the magic words which are automatically
  45.       rearranged in alphabetical order when you have finished.

  47.   V   View results
  48.       Details of the last ten sets of recorded results can be viewed and
  49.       printed from here.  For further help on 'View results', press <V> at
  50.       the Parent/Teacher Section, then press <F1>.

  52.   L   Language
  53.       Changes the extended characters produced by function keys 5-10 when
  54.       used for text entry.

  56.   P   Printer
  57.       Select your printer.  If it is not listed, set it up to emulate one
  58.       which is.

  60.   S   Save new defaults
  61.       Press <S> to save current settings as new defaults.
