  3.   History:   The word that best describes the Ferengi are "pests."
  4.              They have been known to put their nose where it doesn't
  5.              belong and have no objective but to turn a profit in any
  6.              of their dealings.

  8.   Weapons:   Ferengi weaponry is inadequate against Federation shields
  9.              and deflectors.  Their only advantage is speed and
  10.              meneuverability, yet even that isn't much of an advantage.

  12.   Advice:    Due to their lack of threat, ignoring them is the proper
  13.              thing to do.  Although they can be pests, if they realize
  14.              no profit is to be gained, they will go away.

  16.   Starfleet: Starfleet refuses to engage in trade or relations with
  17.              the Ferengi empire.  Little is known about their culture.
