  1. Operation Striker

  3. The Luftwaffe has been winning back the
  4. skies over the Reich for the last few
  5. months since the introduction of their
  6. secret weapons the jets and the rocket 
  7. powered aircraft.
  8.  
  9. U.S. designers had been feverishly
  10. working on getting a comparable aircraft
  11. into the fight. They finally succeeded 
  12. in producing the P-80. Now you have a
  13. weapon worthy of combat with the deadly
  14. twin-engined Me262s that have been
  15. terrorizing the hapless bomber crews and
  16. frustrating their gunners with sheer 
  17. speed and a potent array of nose mounted
  18. cannon.
  19.  
  20. On this mission you are serving as the
  21. first all-jet escort to see combat over
  22. Germany. You must get the bombers to 
  23. their target and safely out again, but
  24. your itching for a fight and your heart
  25. is pounding as the adrenaline flows in
  26. anticipation of an encounter with the 
  27. swift German jet fighters that are sure 
  28. to come.
