  3.                         WELCOME TO THE REBEL ALLIANCE!

  6.         This a demo of the Space Combat Simulator X-WING from LucasArts
  7. Entertainment Company!

  9. REQUIREMENTS:
  10.  
  11.         The demo requires a 386/25Mhz or higher. To receive speech 
  12.         with a Soundblaster soundcard please make sure you have 
  13.         EMS installed.
  14.  
  15.  
  16. TO RUN THE DEMO:
  17.  
  18.         1. Create a new directory in your root directory on your hard-drive:
  19.              md c:\xwdemo
  20.  
  21.         2. Copy all files from the floppy disk into that directory:
  22.              copy b:*.* c:\xwdemo
  23.  
  24.         3. Change to directory on hard-drive:
  25.              c:
  26.              cd c:\xwdemo
  27.  
  28.         4. Extract demo file onto hard-drive by typing:
  29.              xwing
  30.  
  31.         5. The demo incorporates three different sound-card configurations:
  32.  
  33.                 A. Soundblaster
  34.                 B. Adlib
  35.                 C. No Sound Card
  36.  
  37.            To run this demo with an Soundblaster soundcard type: 
  38.              xblast
  39.  
  40.            To run this demo with an Adlib soundcard type: 
  41.              xadlib

  43.            To run this demo with no soundcard and on an lowend machine type: 
  44.              xlowend
