  1. Welcome to our Demo version of Terminator Rampage for IBM 386 or higher
  2. machines! Before you begin your own rampage, refer to the KEYS & COMMANDS 
  3. section below.

  5. TO SETUP YOUR SOUND CARD
  6. ========================
  7. From this directory run the INSTALL program and choose "Configure game".
  8.  
  9. Type,

  11. INSTALL
  12.  
  13. This will create a batch file TERM.BAT.
  14.  
  15. TO BEGIN PLAYING
  16. ================ 
  17. From this dirctory type,

  21. KEYS & COMMANDS 
  22. ===============
  23. If you are having trouble not hearing the sounds of your weapons,
  24. go into the Setup menu and decrease the music volume, then turn the volume
  25. of your speakers higher.
  26. Stepping on an item automatically uses it or adds it to your inventory, such
  27. as ammo, medkits, and armorkits.
  28.  
  29. One general rule: If it moves, kill it...
  30.  
  31. SETUP
  32. =====
  33. From the first menu choose 'SETUP' or,
  34.  
  35. TAB            To access the Setup menu during the game...
  36.  
  37. MOUSE
  38. =====
  39. Walking is done by pressing the right mouse button. Sideways rolling turns
  40. the character, rolling forward or back will move the character in that
  41. direction. This movement is useful for targeting enemies or fine tuning
  42. your aim.
  43.  
  44. LEFT MOUSE BUTTON    Fires selected weapon. If directly in front of a
  45.             door this button will open the door.
  46.  
  47. RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON    Runs you in whatever direction you're currently
  48.             facing. This movement is quick, and much easier
  49.             than rolling the mouse over and over again.
  50.  
  51. ALT + Mouse side roll    Will slide you left or right instead of turning.
  52.  
  53. WEAPONS SWITCH
  54. ==============
  55. F1            Beretta            low power
  56. F2            Uzi submachine gun    medium power
  57. F5            SPAS-12 Shotgun        high power
  58.  
  59. KEYBOARD
  60. ========
  61. UP ARROW        Move forward
  62. DN ARROW        Move backwards
  63. LEFT ARROW        Spin left
  64. RIGHT ARROW        Spin right
  65. CTRL + (any above)    Doubles the movement rate while held down
  66. ALT + Left or right     Slides you left or right instead of turning.

  68. TARGET ID TOGGLE
  69. ================
  70. M            Toggles Proximity Map on/off
  71. T            Toggles Target ID on/off
  72. V            Displays the diagram of the V-TEC Phased Plasma
  73.             Cannon you are trying to assemble. It will also
  74.             show how many pieces of the V-TEC you have found.

  76. JOYSTICK
  77. ========
  78. Pushing the joystick forward runs you forward, pulling it back walks you
  79. backward, left and right pushing will turn you respectively left or right.
  80. Button 2 will open doors if you are close to them.
  81.  
  82. LEFT JOYSTICK BUTTON     Fires selected weapon.
  83.  
  84. RIGHT JOYSTICK BUTTON    If directly in front of a door this button will
  85.             open the door.

  87. ALT + Joystick         Will slide you left or right instead of turning.
