  13.        "Acrostix v2.3 - A word  puzzle which converts a Quotation or
  14.        saying  into  a  crossword  type  puzzle  which  has  to   be
  15.        reconstructed.   The program allows you to create puzzles for
  16.        others to play.  Contains anti-virus self check."

  18.             You've probably seen these puzzles  before in one of the
  19.        crossword puzzle books.  Your have a grid  of  empty  squares
  20.        with rows of letters below.  You have to take the letters and
  21.        fill  in the boxes to come up with a quotation.  They're easy
  22.        to do, but it does take  some  thinking on your part, as well
  23.        as some trial and error.  They can be fun and frustrating  at
  24.        the same time.

  26.             Moving  around  is  easy  enough  with either a mouse or
  27.        keyboard.  There is  no  complicated  commands  and you'll be
  28.        playing shortly after loading the program for the first time.
  29.        While you are trying to solve the puzzle,  you  can  use  the
  30.        CHEAT  key  if  you  get  stuck or the AUTO solve mode if you
  31.        really get stumped.

  33.             ACROSTIX comes with 20 puzzles  ready to solve.  It also
  34.        lets you easily create your own that can then be shared  with
  35.        others.  Bob runs a BBS (713-370-5804) that has extra puzzles
  36.        for  ACROSTIX  and  all  of  his  other  programs  ready  for
  37.        download.   This  is  one  of the better FREE programs you'll
  38.        find.  If you like games  that  uses  your brain instead of a
  39.        joystick, try this one.
