  1. PRINTF - PrintFlip for Windows

  5. Introduction:
  6. PrintFlip is a quick printer changer and setup for Windows.  
  7. PF allows you to quickly switch from a printing device to another 
  8. on the desktop without running control panel.  You can also see 
  9. the present printer at a glance.  This is especially useful when a 
  10. person (such as I) has a printer and a fax/modem.  Furthermore, 
  11. PF can switch Print Manager status fast.  It also can change 
  12. orientation on the fly.  For more info, please read the help file.
  13. Tested with Windows 3.1.  Replaces pftime.  Do distribute widely.

  15. Registration:
  16. PrintFlip is a shareware program.  Notice that there are no nag
  17. screens nor disabled options.  If you find it useful, please do 
  18. register as this encourage us to develop more useful programs. 
  19. Registration is only US $5.00.  Site licenses are negotiable.  
  20. Please include your name, address, and tel/fax number.  If this 
  21. is too expensive, do contact us.  The benefit of registration 
  22. is clear conscience.  Nevertheless, if you have any comments 
  23. (especially bug reports) or questions, do contact us.

  34. v1.2 - new and more intuitive configuration interface, name changed
  35.        to PrintFlip, status changed to shareware.
  36. v0.4 - fixed some bugs such as list and icon updates, refusal to 
  37.        start minimized.  Also added the print manager feature.  
  38.        Better error trapping.
  39. v0.3 - first public release as pftime and donateware.

  54. Methods:
  55. 1.  You need the file VBRUN200.DLL (Visual Basic run-time file) 
  56. in your Windows directory (\WINDOWS or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM) since 
  57. this is a Visual Basic program.  You can get it from where you 
  58. obtain PrintFlip.
  59. 2.  APIGUIDE.DLL should be copied to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM 
  60. directory.
  61. 3.  The other files should be installed in their own directory 
  62. (such as C:\WINUTIL\PRINTF).
  63. 4.  Attach PRINTF.EXE icon to a Group (Startup group recommended)
  64. in Program Manager (easiest way is to drag and drop from File 
  65. Manager).
