  1. To use this new VIR.DAT with NETSHIELD, simply copy VIR.DAT over the
  2. previous version of the file, then unload and reload NETSHIELD. This
  3. will allow NETSHIELD to catch the viruses we have added detection for
  4. in SCAN V107.

  6. The VALIDATE.DOC file tells how to use VALIDATE.  VALIDATE
  7. can be used to check subsequent versions of VIR.DAT for
  8. tampering.
