  1. Welcome to the Time Reporting System from IDG Micro Products.

  3. The TRS system is in operation at a number of companies and has proven
  4. to be a low-cost way to increase an organization's efficiency and
  5. could, if installed at multiple physical locations which are part of
  6. a wide area network, help reduce long distance phone bills.
  7.  
  8. As you will notice there is no Install procedure. Instead, create the
  9. directory on your hard drive where you want the files and copy all
  10. files from the diskette using the Copy command.
  11.  
  12. You can print the TRS documentation (TRS.DOC), the registration form
  13. (REGISTER.FRM) and all files with names starting with the letter L,
  14. by copying them to the printer i.e. >copy trs.doc lpt1
  15.  
  16. The filenames starting with the letter L are sample reports produced
  17. by the program TRSRPT which you will receive, together with the TRSSPV,
  18. TRSRCP and TRSWRK programs (which are described in more detail in the
  19. documentation) upon receipt of the registration form and applicable fee.

  21. Although the system is virtually self-explanatory, please read the
  22. documentation before you begin, especially the first few pages which
  23. discuss the system and its features in general terms.

  25. PLEASE NOTE:  This system must run on Novell networks and will NOT
  26. run on stand-alone PCs.
