External Protocols Setup Help
This module allows the user to define external file transfer protocols.
This is really a fancy menu system when you get down to it. The only
difference is that it will allow you to ask for prompts for filenames
and a command line parameter to the batch file that is being called.
This option could also be used for running programs other than
protocols.
What is an external file transfer protocol?
An external file transfer protocol is a protocol that is not built
into ClickComm but desired by the user.
How do I setup an external protocol?
Setting up an external protocol in ClickComm is quite easy.
1 - Read the documentation for the protocol.
2 - Create a batch file, with the commands for the protocol, that will
accept command line parameter if defined. All batch files must
reside in the ClickComm Directory.
3 - Fill in the external protocol values as defined below.
Simply type in the value, and proceed to the next field. As you move
from field to field you will notice the messages at the bottom of the
screen will change. These are quick help messages.
