  1. LINUX "HOW-TO" GUIDES: HINTS ON USING LINUX

  4. This directory contains Linux HOWTO documents, maintained by 
  5. mdw@sunsite.unc.edu. Some of these used to be FAQ's; see the file
  6. HOWTO-INDEX for details.

  8. The file UTOD.EXE is a program that runs under MSDOS which 
  9. converts Unix text documents to MSDOS text documents. If
  10. you want to convert any of these HOW-TO guides to DOS format
  11. just use UTOD.EXE on it. For example to convert
  12. printing.how to DOS format:

  14.                  utod printing.how
  15.  
  16. NOTE that the install guide 'install.how' is already in DOS
  17. format for you convenience.
