Calculator
The calculator is a simple four-function calculator with add, subtract, multiply, and divide. To operate the calculator you can either use the keyboard or press the buttons on the calculator with the mouse. The 'C' key clears the calculator, the '
' key will erases the last character typed, and the '
' key toggles the value from positive to negative (the keyboard equivalent of '
' is '_'). -

The calendar displays the current month, highlighting todays date. The next and previous months can be viewed using the '+' or '-' keys respectivly. The mouse can also be used to change the month by pressing the

Edit
You may hit Enter in the scrolling box to Launch an application Program. Or select Go with your mouse. Cancel closes the box, as does clicking on the upper left corner on the "Close [
] Icon", or Pressing the Escape key. Quit will Quit PowerMenu Altogether. Each one of the buttons in the application launcher responds to the first letter of the command, ie. G for Go, C for Cancel and Q for Quit. V

Close the window that is currently selected on the desktop. You select this option when you are done using a window.

Directory Name
The Directory Name input box is where you type in the path of the new directory.

The Directory Tree list box enables you to navigate directories by using the selecting bar and pressing Enter.
If you're using the keyboard, press Enter to make the selected directory be the current directory, then choose OK or press Esc to exit the dialog box. Use the TAB key to switch between windows and buttons. 6
[Chdir ]
The Chdir button changes the current directory once you've selected or typed in a directory name.
[Revert]
The Revert button goes back to the previous directory, as long as you haven't yet exited the dialog box. Press ESC to put this help screen away. Y

PowerMenu! Disk Formatter.
Powermenu will format 3.5 and 5.25 disks
excluding 2.8 floppy disks.
Use the
up/down arrows, space bar and tab keys to move around the format option box. place a blank disk in either a: or b: drive, when you've made your selection, press Start or S and Powermenu! will format the disk. When the disk is finished, Powermenu! will ask if you'd like to format another, when your done formatting disks choose no and return back to the main menu.
Also note that Powermenu! requires the file PMENU.OVL to be present for the format operation, this file is included in the Powermenu package and should be present on your disk. J

View a File.
A file viewer views the contents of a text file. You will be able to quickly View Text File's in a moveable scrolling window. You can use the arrow keys to move about in the file. A file is loaded via the File
View menu item. a

The Undo command allows you to "take back" the last editor action you performed. For example, if the line:
This is an editor test
is changed to:
This was an editor test
the Undo command will become active. Executing the Undo command will cause the line to revert back to its original version. Note that changes which can be undone are grouped into similar actions, such as typing, or deleting characters. Any action type you perform that is different than the last action type will cause the Undo information to be lost. *

The Cut command removes the selected text and places it on the Clipboard. Any information previously on the clipboard is lost. Text cut from the editor may be immediately replaced by selecting the Undo command before moving the cursor. *

The Copy command places a copy of the selected text on the Clipboard. The selected information is left unchanged, but any information previously on the clipboard is lost.

The Paste command inserts a the contents of the clipboard into the current editor window at the cursor position. The contents of the clipboard remain unchanged. If any text is selected in the current editor window, the highlighted text is replaced by the text coming from the clipboard. Information pasted into an editor may be removed immediately by using the Undo command before moving the cursor.
