  14.        1/2      cup   Shortening                                        
  15.        2        ea    Eggs                                              
  16.        1        cup   Sour cream                                        
  17.        1/4      tsp   Salt                                              
  18.        1        tsp   Baking soda                                       
  19.        2        cup   Flour                                             
  20.        1        tsp   Vanilla                                           
  21.        1        cup   Raisins                                           
  22.        1        ea    Orange - small - rind of

  24.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  26.     Add soda to cream. Grate orange peel. Pour hot water over raisins,    
  27.     then grind. Bake in large flat pan. Roll in powdered sugar or use     
  28.     orange icing.

  30.     Note: No temperature give. Assume a slow 325 F. oven.
