  13.        3/4      cup   Butter                                            
  14.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  15.        2        ea    Eggs                                              
  16.        1/2      cup   Milk                                              
  17.        2 1/2    cup   Flour                                             
  18.        1        tsp   Baking soda                                       
  19.        2        tsp   Cream tartar                                      
  20.        1        tsp   Cinnamon                                          
  21.        1        tsp   Cloves                                            
  22.        1/2      tsp   Nutmeg                                            
  23.        3/4      cup   Raisins - chopped

  25.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  27.     Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat about 1/2 minute after      
  28.     adding each egg. Add milk and dry ingredients and lastly raisins,     
  29.     which have been slightly floured. Spread about 1/3 inch thick in large
  30.     tin. Bake at 400 F. for 10 minutes. Cut in squares before taking from 
  31.     pan.
