  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        2        cup   Brown sugar                                       
  14.        1/2      cup   Vinegar and water together                        
  15.                       Nuts - chopped

  17.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  19.     Boil as for other taffy until it spins a thread. Add nuts and pour on 
  20.     plate. Pull when ready. Common walnuts are especially good in this    
  21.     recipes. Never a failure.                                             
  22.                                                                           
  23.     Note: Taffy should be cooked to hard ball stage. Pulling can begin    
  24.     when it cools enough to handle. Butter hands!
