  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        1        cup   Water - hot                                       
  14.        1/4      cup   Sugar                                             
  15.        3        Tbsp  Shortening                                        
  16.        1        tsp   Salt

  18.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  20.     Combine first 4 ingredients. Dissolve yeast, 1 t. sugar in water, add 
  21.     to first mixture. Add egg and enough flour so dough can be kneaded on 
  22.     board. Roll in small balls, place 3 in greased muffin tins. Cover and 
  23.     let rise to double its size. Bake at 425 F., 12 or 15 minutes.
