This is my first attempt at putting out a course that I have
created and that I feel I have done a relatively good job at
creating. I'm not as good as a Lee Ritze or a Scott Chesney, but
one has to start out small. I would like to thank Lee Ritze for
the use of his backround. I found it so spectacular, I had to use
it!!
Blackwolf Run is a local course built in Kohler WI by Pete Dye and was ranked the best
new public course in the nation in 1988 by GOLF Digest. Two large glacial masses were
responsible for the terrain in this region.
The River course is the most popular of the two 18 hole layouts at Blackwolf Run. Hailed by
many as one of Pete Dye's greatest works, it features great elevation changes and spectacular
views. I have tried my best to try and retain most of the realism of the course. It was not
easy, but with much video tape and experimentation I think I have achieved a reasonable
closeness. This course features water coming into play on 11 of its 18 holes. This course
is very much target golf....
Comments, criticisms and suggestions for new course settings are always
welcome, through the Accolade BBS, 19th Hole BBS, America Online or mail.
