X-Wing Cloning 2.0
Clone 2.0 is an easy way to clone your pilot in X-Wing.
To use Clone 2.0 pkunzip it into any directory. Copy the pilot you want
to be cloned onto a disk (A or B drive). Type "CLONE20 (pilot's name *
if piliot's name is Rich you would type in "RICH") (drive in which pilot
is stored *A or B*) (directory in which X-Wing is installed to *c:\xwing*)
(directory you wish all pilots in the directory that X-Wing is installed to
to be moved to).
Questions that you might ask, but that I am answering for you (just in
case).
#1: What is "cloning?"
A: "Cloning" is the name I give to the method to making pilots just like
one already existing pilot.
#2: How does "cloning" work?
A: Cloning is a continous step of copying and renaming pilots. I put
all these steps in a BAT file to make cloning quick and easy.
#3: What are the advantages to cloning?
A: Well, let's say your an Ace. Usually you would be flying with rookies
(unless you bothered to fly through all those mission to get another pilot
promoted to an ace). With Clone 2.0 you can clone your pilot so you can
fly with Ace's (or whatever your rank may be). This can, and will, make
missions in which you fly with other (good) aircraft easier.
#4: I really like your program, if I give you $1,000,000 would you except
it?
A: What do you think!?!?!?! I will accept cash (but that's not what I really
want in return). What I really want is some opinions of this program. Write
to me using Academia under the name DAVID GOLDEN (I'm David's incredibly smart
son).
Thanks, good luck, and don't forget to backup your pilot!
