  7.         The Apartment Renter is a totally macro driven template that is
  8.      designed to replace a `pegboard' type of accounting system that is
  9.      used in many apartment complexes.  The apartment manager needs to
  10.      know very little about Lotus 1-2-3 because of the extensive use of
  11.      macros.
  12.  
  13.      The Apartment Renter:
  14.        1.  Does all accounting to the tenants' records. Posts rents,
  15.            fees, rent credits, and NSF checks.
  16.        2.  Calculates late payments.
  17.        3.  Pro-rates unit rental and parking fees for move-ins and
  18.            move-outs.
  19.        4.  Updates a report generated "deposit slip" and month end
  20.            results with each rental posting.
  21.        5.  Post rentals at the end of each month and calculates month-end
  22.            results.
  23.        6.  Gives reports on all units, vacancies, rent, pre-payments
  24.            (Next), delinquencies (Lates), paid parking, "deposits
  25.            slips", and month end.
  26.        7.  Posts move-out notices and calculates the next months rent
  27.            predicated on the move-out date.
  28.        8.  Posts vacancies, and cleaning status.
  29.        9.  Allows for tenant search by last name or auto license number.

  31.      During the running of the template the user never leaves the macro
  32.      loop.  All input to the template is done through the prompt line on
  33.      the top of the screen.

  35.      This program works in conjuction with Lotus 1-2-3.  The registered
  36.      disk comes complete with updated Apartment Renter program and printed
  37.      manual.

  39.      The file has cell protection so as the user can not overwrite pertinent
  40.      information that is used in the computation cells.

  42.      This program is very large and requires 448K of memory.  If you are
  43.      runninga PC at 4.77mhz with a 8088 processor the template can take
  44.      about 2 1/2 minutes to load.  Replacing the 8088 with a NEC V20 cuts
  45.      the loading down to about 35 seconds.

  47. Hardware Requirements  : IBM  PC, PC-compatible  or MS-DOS  computer
  48. 448k RAM, 2 floppy drives.
