DocView 1.0

DocView is a little something I whipped up to ease the viewing and
printing of Program Manuals Distributed with my programs.
Requirements: 300K free memory, its not highly optimised for memory
usage. Need enough memory for large DOC's!!
Limitations : DocView will not work for any other files. The files
that can be loaded, viewed and printed, are hard-coded
into each copy distributed.
So you will probably wish to send it to the bit-bucket
sooner or later.
Potential : It's possible, in time, that I will distribute a version
of DocView that others may use for the same purpose,
allowing the user to specify the required names etc in a
config file. Don't hold your breath though.
**************************************************
Usage :
Simply log onto the directory where the DOC files are, that should be
where you un-packed the archive.
To view DOC's with DocView, they must be in the same directory as
DocView, the program will not search elsewhere for the file. If it
cannot be found in the current directory, it will simply tell you it
cannot load FILENAME.
When you fire up DocView, it will present a menu of files, select the
one you wish to view, and press ENTER. The file will be displayed,
UpArrow, DnArrow, PgUp, PgDn, Home and End will work for moving through
the file.
Ctl-P will Print the file to the default printer on LPT1. If the
printer is NOT ready, DocView will just beep at you, otherwise it will
display a message on the bottom line and commence printing.
Pressing ESCape will again present the DOC file menu, you may select
another to view, OR pressing ESCape again, will Exit the program.
I hope you find DocView helpful in viewing/printing the manuals!
