  4. Start Manager has many powerful features. Below are some general
  5. guidelines.
  6.  
  7. Pressing ESC will end most functions.
  8. Press the RED character in the above boxes to use a function.
  9. Your text files are saved when you Press Esc.
  10. A button above shows up when you are in the EDIT mode.
  11.  
  12. Most of this programs functions use the same editor. Below
  13. is a description of how to use the editor.
  14.  
  15.     INS       - Toggles Insert mode off and on.
  16.    ^I CNTRL I - Scrolls Down.
  17.    ^D CNTRL D - Scrolls Up.
  18.    ^Y CNTRL Y - Deletes a line.

  21.            F2 - Displays the TIME.
  22.             V - Vital Statisics

  30. VITAL STATISTICS notes can be created for any purpose.

  32. Select one of the 15 VITAL STATISTICS items and then Press Enter.

  52.  ADD    - Allows you to add a note to a date.

  54.  UPDATE - Allows you to update a note.

  56.  DELETE - Allows you to remove a note.

  59.  When an ARROW appears next to a date - move the RED BOX to that
  60.  date and PRESS ENTER to VIEW the attached note.

  65.  PGDN = NEXT RECORD               HOME = FIRST RECORD

  67.  PGUP = PREVIOUS RECORD           END = LAST RECORD

  69.  ADD    - Press A to add a new record to your phone database.

  71.  UPDATE - Press U to change phone information.

  73.  LIST   - Lists names and phone numbers in database. Select a
  74.           record with the bar and press enter to goto that record.

  76.  FIND   - Finds the Name or Names you select.

  78.  DELETE - Deletes Records. Deleted records are re-used by the
  79.           ADD function if applicable.

  81.  PRINT  - Prints Record contents for All or the Current Record.

  83.  DIAL   - Move the bar to the Phone Number and Press Enter.
  84.           You must have a modem and it must be configured properly.

  89.  Leave yourself a note. When you run Start Manager the program
  90.  checks to see if there is a note, if a note exists, it displays
  91.  it.

  93.  Use the DELETE option to remove unwanted notes. This assures that
  94.  unwanted notes will not get displayed on start up.

  99.  This text database is useful for keeping a journal of daily
  100.  events.

  103.  PGUP   - Previous record.

  111.  ADD    - Add a new note to the journal database.
