  12.       DB is used for Sales/Phone call management, Mail Lists, Mail Merge
  13.       functions, or normal record keeping for any purpose.

  15.       As a simple database manager, it creates and supports standard
  16.       dBASE III Plus files.  dBASE file structure has been used in order
  17.       to provide total flexibility and compatibility with your current
  18.       and future environments.

  20.       As a Contact Manager, you can design `your own database structure'
  21.       to suit your specific or changing needs.

  30.       Installation Information

  32.       If you set an environment variable called COMMON you can have your 
  33.       DB config file DB.CFG and the main program DB.EXE, on one of the
  34.       directories in your dos path, allowing you to access database files
  35.       anywhere on your harddrive.

  37.       To do so, add this to your system autoexec.bat file...

  39.       SET COMMON=C:\UTIL\
  40.  
  41.          ... where "C:\UTIL\" is any one of your path directories, and
  42.          where you have DB.CFG and DB.EXE.
