  19.     ------------------------ SUMMARY ----------------------------------

  21.     BiblioFile is a PLMS - Personal Library Management System.  With
  22.     configurable reports and detailed information tracking, it is a
  23.     powerful yet easy way to track a personal, professional, or
  24.     company library.

  26.     ------------------ TO INSTALL AND RUN -----------------------------
  27.  
  28.     To install BiblioFile, simply copy all the files to the
  29.     appropriate location and then just type BF.  All necessary file
  30.     configuration will be done automatically.
  31.  
  32.     One example of the keystrokes for installation might be:
  33.  
  34.      Command                 Action
  35.     C: <Enter>           Change to the C: drive, your hard drive.
  36.     CD\ <Enter>          Make sure you are in the root directory.
  37.     MD\BF <Enter>        Make a directory called BF for BiblioFile.
  38.     CD\BF <Enter>        Change to the BF directory.
  39.     COPY A:*.*  <Enter>  Copy all the files from the A: drive.  This
  40.                          assumes that the BiblioFile files are on a
  41.                          floppy disk in the A: drive.
  42.     BF <Enter>           Start the BiblioFile program.

  45.     NOTE: Because of the file creation that takes place on startup
  46.           and the read/write nature of a database, BiblioFile cannot
  47.           be run from CDROM media.  If you received BiblioFile on
  48.           CDROM, please copy it to another disk before attempting to
  49.           run it.

  51.     ------------------------ FILE LIST --------------------------------

  53.     The files in this package can be identified as follows:
  54.        BF.EXE       - The executable BiblioFile program.  This is the
  55.                       only file absolutely necessary to run
  56.                       BiblioFile.  All other required files will be
  57.                       created by the program as needed.
  58.        BF.DOC       - The BiblioFile manual.
  59.        README       - This file.
  60.        FILE_ID.DIZ  - Short program description for distribution
  61.                       services.
  62.        OMBUDSMN.ASP - Information about the ASP.
  63.        REGISTER.FRM - The BiblioFile order form.
  64.        WHATSNEW.DOC - Tells about new features in this version.

  67.     The following files will be created when BiblioFile runs for the
  68.        first time and will be automatically recreated if they are ever
  69.        deleted.
  70.        *.DBF  - Various database file.
  71.        *.IND  - Corresponding index files.
  72.        BF.CFG - Configuration options.
