AC - The Archive Converter By Donald M. Langhorne
Copyright (c) 1991,1993; All rights reserved;
=====================================================================
What's New -- For a complete history, see the file HISTORY.TXT
V3.10 [08/14/93]
=================
--AC now supports conversion of files on Floppy diskettes that were
previously too large too be converted. This is acheived thru the
use of a working drive and directory. AC uses the TEMP environment
variable as the working location.
--AC now supports custom colors and in addition, the user can modify the
default color pallette for each of the sixteen colors.
--Fixed some minor bugs with the menus.
--Fixed a bug with virus scanning. AC would erroneously say that a
virus was found if it was unable to execute the program SCAN.EXE.
V3.01 [04/05/93]
=================
--AC now automatically updates an archive if it is told it's
exact extension, or is selected in the UI mode.
--The update feature has changed somewhat. This feature now will
allow you to perform updates in batch mode, or simply put, you can
now turn updating to ON, and in the UI mode, convert ALL archives
and AC will convert all foreign archives to the default AND update
any like archives in one stroke! In the command line mode with
updating turned ON, you can type: 'AC /U *' and AC will perform
both conversion and updating all at once!
--Identified a problem with SQZ and AC. SQZ allows the user to use either
the '-' or the '/' characters as switch characters. the '/' char. does
NOT work properly in AC!! Use the '-', it seems to work fine.
